Connect LizMusic to your own Google Drive music folder

LizMusic can browse and play music from your own Google Drive after you sign in with your Google account and choose a folder from My Drive. The app does not create Google accounts or provide shared libraries.

What you need

  • A Google account with access to Google Drive.
  • Music files already stored in a folder inside your own My Drive.
  • A browser or Google sign-in flow on your device to complete authorization.

Typical setup flow

  1. Open LizMusic and go to Settings, then Storage, then Add Storage.
  2. Select Google Drive.
  3. Sign in with your own Google account and approve the requested access.
  4. Choose the music folder you want LizMusic to use from My Drive.
  5. Save the storage and start browsing or playback from that folder.

Common issues

Authorization expired or revoked

Reconnect the Google Drive storage in LizMusic if you revoked access in your Google account or the session is no longer valid.

Wrong account selected

Make sure the Google sign-in flow uses the account that actually contains the music folder you want to browse.

No files appear

Confirm the selected folder contains supported audio files and that the files are still inside My Drive rather than a location you did not grant access to.

Playback or import fails later

Check whether the file was moved, deleted, renamed, or whether your Google Drive authorization needs to be refreshed inside LizMusic.

Need Google account help?

For Google account creation, password recovery, billing, or Google Drive service issues, use Google's own support resources. LizMusic only handles the client-side playback connection to the folder you authorize.
