HTTPS WebDAV
How to secure WebDAV with HTTPS
HTTPS helps protect your WebDAV credentials and file traffic while data travels between Android and your server. It is one of the most important security checks before using WebDAV away from home.
Checklist
- Use a WebDAV URL that starts with HTTPS.
- Use a valid certificate from your provider, NAS, reverse proxy, or certificate tool.
- Use strong authentication and avoid shared passwords.
- Give the app access only to the folders it needs.
- Disconnect or rotate credentials if a device is lost.
Content responsibility
HTTPS protects transport, not copyright status. Use LizMusic only with personal audio files you own, created, recorded, or have permission to use.
