Back to WebDAV basics

WebDAV Uses

What is WebDAV used for?

WebDAV is used when an app needs to access files on a remote folder over the web. Common uses include NAS folders, self-hosted storage, private cloud files, document workflows, and personal audio libraries.

Use it with lawful personal files

For LizMusic, WebDAV should be used for personal audio files you own, created, recorded, or have permission to use. LizMusic does not provide content, shared libraries, download links, or copyright bypass tools.

NAS and home servers

A NAS can expose a WebDAV endpoint so your phone can access folders while your files stay on your own storage.

Personal audio libraries

You can keep lawful music, recordings, practice tracks, or karaoke recordings on WebDAV and use LizMusic to play them.
